The Contest "Golden Crest"

The announcer of the contest is the Union of towns and villages of the Czech republic within the framework of the project Towns and villages online.

The aim of the contest is to promote use of Internet for providing information by the local authorities and for the presentation of towns and villages of the Czech Republic. The contest is the part of iniciatives within the framework of the action March--the Month of Internet and it is announced during the Conference The Internet on the state administration and self-government, which is held in Hradec Kralove.

Over 90 towns and villages were registrated in the first annual contest. The main prize for towns won Plzen and and the main prize for villages won Dobrichovice.
