The main task of the two-year project is to enable the representatives of the twinning towns mutual discussion as well as exchange of experience with other representatives of public administration as well as passing the experience and sharing the best practices from a number of other areas of informatization of the public administration. There were also discussed the objectives of i2010 initiative and its implementation at the local level as well as the further development of e-government in the whole Central and East European region. More than 2000 participants of the simultaneously held national conference ISSS as well as Visegrád conference V4DIS were acquainted with the results of International Conference LORIS 2010. And as every year this information was further distributed also through the participating European initiatives and networks such as e.g. Global Cities Dialogue, ELANET and others. Participants of the International Conference LORIS 2010 in Hradec Králové could take part already in the Sunday afternoon workshop (E-government Expert Forum) held by the association SPIS and then in the social gala evening. After the demanding Monday programme the participants then waited in the course of the gala evening in suspense for the announcement of the international competition EuroCrest for the best internet web pages of towns, municipalities and regions in Europe or results of another international competition JuniorCrest. |
