The concept of the competition JuniorErb follows in a free way a few successful and long-term projects that go beyond the borders of the Czech Republic–an activity Junior Internet that became a springboard for a number of young people devoting their time in an active way to the internet, a more and more popular competition Golden Erb (www.zlatyerb.cz) that awards the best Web pages and electronic services of towns, municipalities and regions, and the Conference ISSS/LORIS/V4DIS)–a prestigious international event and platform where politicians, representatives of public administration, experts and suppliers of modern technologies and services exchange yearly experience and discuss further development of informatization of public administration in the Czech Republic, Visegrad region as well as in other European countries. The competition is aimed at young people under 18 who are in an active way interested in internet and who use their knowledge, energy and enthusiasm to the benefit of local communities or all society. The main objective is to support their effort, to help them prepare for their future professional career, to catch up interesting incentives and at the same time further increase their interest in public matters. |
