According to Deputy Minister Zdenek Zajicek, the Minister of Informatics Award is an "appreciation of the endeavour that was behind establishing the firm position of the prestigious discussion platform the ISSS conference has become in recent years, as well as the fact that organising ten successful editions of such an extensive event represents a respectable amount of work." Tomas Rencin, who took over the award in person, was also congratulated, through a telephone connection relayed to the auditorium of the Aldis Congress Centre from the Straka Academy, personally by Ivan Langer, Minister of the Interior, who in the morning had to leave the conference for a government session. |
