The partners of the project V4DIS 2007 organized by Association Czech At are Capital City Prague--Municipal Authority of Capital Prague (Czech Republic), University of Hradec Kralove (Czech Republic), Association of towns and villages of Slovakia (Slovakia), Union of towns of Slovakia (Slovakia), Hungarian national association of local governments (TÖOSZ, Hungary), ICEG European Center (Hungary), National Association of Intelligent Settlements (ITOSz, Hungary), Option.hu Technology Development and Cultural Service Provider Ltd. (Hungary) and Alfa Omega Foundation (Poland). The event has again applied for support of the International Visegrad Fund. The participants of the previous years of V4DIS gatherings have mainly appreciated the significance of international exchange of experience in the area of informisation of public administration--mainly with regard to the fact that the countries are united by common historical development, similar economic potential and equal position within European Union. In the similar spirit there let himself express while evaluating the last year conference also the President of the Senate of Parliament of the Czech Republic, Premysl Sobotka, who had accepted a personal patronage over the last year gathering. A year of international conference V4DIS, which is being prepared, will be again a place for meeting of number of significant guests. The previous conference--apart from numerous delegations from the Visegrad Four countries--was honoured by the visit of for example Eurocommissioner Vladimir Spidla, number of ministers of the government of the CR, a regular participant is also a deputy of director of International Visegrad Fund Rene Kubasek and representatives of cooperating initiatives. An opportunity for exchange of experience with their foreign colleagues was not missed either by many hetmans, lord mayors and mayors. Main subject of the programme of V4DIS 2007 will be traditionally issue of eGovernment and electronic services for citizens, including related themes such as providing availability of services and creating of high-speed infrastructure (Broadband innfrastructure), or support of coparticipation of citizens on public administration (eInclusion, eDemocracy). The second fundamental theme will be same as in the last years, exploiting of information and communication technologies for support of tourism (eTourism). It is an important aspect of development of towns and regions as well as care for cultural and natural heritage. The participants of the event will be also introduced to chosen inspiring examples of solution--"best practices", which prove development of electronisation of public administration of Visegrad Four countries as well as successful sharing of know-how between each of the countries. |
