Minister of the Interior Ivan Langer receives ISSS organisers

On Wednesday 18 April Ivan Langer, Minister of the Interior of the
Czech Republic, received members of the ISSS conference organising team in order to once
again personally congratulate them on having been awarded the "Minister of
Informatics of the CR Award", bestowed upon personalities, associations or companies
for making a significant contribution to information society development.
This prestigious award was handed over at the social evening within the
10th edition of the ISSS conference in Hradec Kralove, however, in the absence
of Minister Langer, who had to leave for a government session in Prague and so was only
able to briefly congratulate Tomas Rencin, the conference director, by means of a
telephone connection directly from the Straka Academy, the seat of the Government of the
Czech Republic.
